I am a Second Grade teacher at the PanAmerican School of Bahia. My students all call me George or Jujie which is a nickname I got after moving to Salvador. Our classroom is a dynamic, fun and hard-working place. Take some time to get to know us!!

We Measured Our Heights at the Beginning of Second Grade!!

We recently spent some time measuring our heights and recording them to compare them later, at the end of the year. When we are done, the children will be able to see how much they have grown in Second Grade. We are also beginning to study our bodies in Science so it fits in perfectly. The children loved participating. The results are posted on our Classroom Growth chart.

Great Start!!

We have gotten right down to work in 2B. We are meeting everyday to discuss our learning and share things that are important to us. We have spent time getting used to daily routines like agendas and brushing our teeth. We look forward to seeing you during Open House on Saturday, August 11th.

Nossa Querida Tia Socorro!!

2B's classroom assisstant for the past two years has been Socorro Sampaio. She is most likely a familiar face to many of you because she used to work in the administrative offices. She is well-loved and appreciated by me and by all the children who pass through our doors.

We have been working very hard the past couple of days getting the classroom ready for the 1st day of school. We hope you like it. We are looking forward to seeing you all!!

Tchau,

George
